

Programming and Coding
Games production and coding is another skill I have merely dabbled in, as it popped up in various classes during my degree. While not a huge fan of coding as a whole, I feel confident in the asset creation and implementation aspects. I have gained experience using Unity, Unreal Engine 5, and RPG Maker VX Ace.

Nightmare On Skull Peak
'Nightmare on Skull Peak' is a top-down bullet-hell game developed using Unity, which I made in 2021. All assets present were modelled and animated by myself.

Despite what the trailer implies, the game is not publicly available anywhere.

Calthorpes Crypt (VR)
'Calthorpes Crypt' is a VR experience based on the real-life location 'Calthorpes House', developed using Unreal Engine 5. Part of the brief for this project was to develop the game in its entirety by flipping free assets.

VR Tech Demo
This game followed a literature review I wrote that discussed and analysed VR player locomotion in video games. The purpose of the game was to test and implement a style of VR player locomotion that would prove effective based on the research I'd done. The demo also includes various "sites of interaction" to demonstrate the level of accessibility the locomotion function allowed in regards to locations or items that the player can interact with.

Anniversary Present
'Ashli's Quest' was a short RPG I developed for my girlfriend in 2020 as part of an anniversary present. The game was made in RPG Maker __. As such, a lot of the programming came predeveloped, but this project does showcase my ability to create custom assets and maintain a cohesive narrative with many differing branches and choices within.
